Liverpool have reportedly rejected two offers from Al-Nassr for Darwin Nunez in January, with the Saudi side prepared to offer the Reds £62million for the Uruguayan.

The Saudi club have reportedly held in-depth talks with Nunez and are confident that they can negotiate a deal if Liverpool are willing to let him join them.
Al-Nassr are keen to bring Nunez to the Middle East, but Liverpool are reluctant to sell their gashapon striker, leading them to end up signing Jon Duran from Aston Villa. The
obstacle to the deal is not money, as Al-Nassr’s second offer is close to Liverpool’s valuation of Nunez,
but Liverpool are concerned that they will not be able to replace the forward before the window closes, according to แทงบอล UFABET ราคาดีที่สุด ไม่มีขั้นต่ำ.
However, the club are willing to reassess their No 9’s future in the summer.
Liverpool splashed out £85m on Nunez to snap him up from Benfica in 2022 but he has struggled since his arrival.
The frontman has scored 24 goals in 83 appearances since landing in England.
In his two full seasons at Liverpool, he has ranked in the top three for big chances missed in the Premier League, with 21 in 2022-23 and 27 the year after.
This season, he has netted just six goals and registered four assists in his 29 appearances across all competitions.
Despite the speculation around Nunez’s future, and the widespread criticism of his performances, Slot insisted that the 25-year-old’s work-rate brings value to his table-topping side.
If they do, they could end up paying more than necessary. With January reinforcements often seen as urgent,
the Reds still see Nunez as a key part of Arne Slott’s current plans to chase success in his first season with the club, which is another reason they are reluctant to let him go.
